Bert’s Auto Parts, one of the leading car parts dealers and retailers in Jamaica, uses Coretalk to enable its customers to request parts and information via text message to its customer service center. Customers simply SMS the part they require, this is received on Bert’s Coretalk system and a customer service agent responds via SMS with the information. If the customer texts in the chassis number of their vehicle, Coretalk will automatically identify the customer and the vehicle they own. Coretalk can also link directly to the parts database to provide the customer with an automatic response.
For the customer, sending an SMS is cheaper and less time consuming than a phone call and means they have a written record of the information. And for Bert’s it means they can handle queries much more quickly and reduce the time and cost it takes to service their customers.
